How CUDS SIA handles your personal data.

1. Who we are

2. What data we collect

  • Data you send through our offer and contact forms: name, company, email, phone, your message and any attachments.
  • Order and invoice data from webshop orders.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card data.
  • Basic cookies that are needed for the website to work.

3. Why we use it and legal basis

  • Answering requests and preparing offers: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Processing orders and invoicing: performance of a contract and compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)). Accounting records are kept as required by Latvian law.
  • Newsletter: only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only as needed with: Odoo (website hosting and ERP provider), Stripe (payments), our bank and our accountant. We never sell your personal data.

5. How long we keep it

  • Requests that do not lead to an order: deleted within 2 years.
  • Accounting documents: as long as Latvian law requires.
  • Newsletter data: until you withdraw your consent.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija), www.dvi.gov.lv.
